8-9th November 2014 - Terra Madre Slow Food Festival Central Europe 2014 - the International Exhibition and Convention Centre Expo Kraków.
During the festival almost 200 producers from the following countries presented their products: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Germany, Austria, France and Italy.
Chefs from restaurants recommended by Slow Food Poland participated in the festival.
Viewers had an opportunity to listen to very interesting and inspiring conversations with eminent Polish culinary authorities - for instance with Chef Wojciech Modest Amaro (owner of Atelier Amaro Restaurant in Warsaw awarded a Michelin star) about the nature of Polish cuisine. Conversations were conducted by Mr Jacek Szklarek (Chairman of Slow Food Poland).
During the festival took place also special suppers in restaurants in Cracow, where local chefs were cooking together with chefs from restaurants recommended by Slow Food Poland.
