1. Overview.
- Operator of the Internet service LuxuryExpo.pl is A&K Luxury Expo Aleksandra Macek.
- Service performs the functions of obtaining information about Users and their behaviour in the following way:
a. by voluntarily filling out the forms with information.
b. by saving cookie files in the terminal equipment.
c. by collecting www server logs by the web hosting provider.
2. Information in forms.
- Service collects information provided voluntarily by the User. Service can additionally save information about connection specifications (marking time, IP address).
- The data in form is not made available to third parties otherwise than with the consent of the User.
- The data filled in the form may be a set of potential customers, registered by the Service Provider in the register maintained by the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection.
- The data filled in the form is processed with the aim resulting from the function of a particular form, for instance in order to process the service request or start a business contact.
- The data given in the forms can be forwarded to subjects pursuing certain technical services – it concerns in particular the provision of information about the owner of the registered domain to subjects being Internet domains’ operators (primarily Research and Academic Computer Network j.b.r. – NASK), support services for payments or other entities with whom the Service Operator cooperates in this field.
3. Information about cookie files.
- Service uses cookie files.
- Cookie files (so-called ‘’cookies’’) are computer data, in particular text files stored in the Service User’s terminal device and are designed to use the websites of the Service. Cookie files usually contain name of the website, where they come from, their storage time on the terminal device and a unique number.
- Entity placing cookie files on Service User’s terminal device and receiving access to them is the Service Operator.
- Cookie files are used for the following purposes:
a. to produce statistics that help to understand how the Service Users use the websites, which allows to improve their structure and content;
b. to maintain Service User’s service session (after logging-in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter his login and password on every sub-website of the Service;
c. to determine the User’s profile in order to display him tailored materials in advertising networks, in particular the Google Network. - There are two kinds of ‘cookies’ used by the Service – ‘session’ and ‘fixed’ ones. ‘Session cookies’ are temporary files which are stored in the User’s terminal device until he / she logs off from the website or disables the software (web browser). ‘Fixed cookies’ are stored in the User’s terminal device for the time specified in the cookies’ parameters or until they are manually deleted by the User.
- Software to browse the web sites (a web browser) usually allows by default to store cookie files in User’s terminal device. Service Users can change settings in this area. Internet browser enables the User to delete cookie files. One can also automatically block cookie files. Detailed information on this subject is available in the ‘help section’ or web browser’s documentation.
- Restrictions of the usage of cookie files may affect some of the functionalities available on the websites of the Service.
- Cookie files stored in the Service User’s terminal device may be also used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service Operator.

- Cookie files may be used by advertisement networks, the Google Network in particular, to display advertisements tailored to the way in which the User uses the Service. - In terms of information about User’s preferences collected by the Google Advertising Network, the User can view and edit information derived from the cookie files with a tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
4. Server logs.
- Information about some of User’s behaviour is logged in the server layer. This data is used solely to administer the web site and to ensure provision of the most efficient hosting services.
- Viewed resources are identified by URL addresses. In addition, subject to the record may be:
a. date of enquiry,
b. date of response,
c. name of the customer’s station – identification carried out by the HTTP protocol,
d. information about errors which occurred during the implementation of the HTTP protocol,
e. URL address of the website previously visited by the User (referrer link) – where there has been a transition to the Service by reference,
f. information about the User’s browser,
g. information about the IP address. - The above-mentioned data is not associated with specific people viewing the website.
- The above-mentioned data is used solely for Server administration purposes.
5. Release of the data.
- Data is made available to external entities only within the limits allowed by law.
- Data allowing identification of the individual is made available only with consent of this person.
- The Service Operator may be required to provide information collected by the Service to authorized authorities on the basis of requests complying with the law.
6. Managing cookie files – how to give and revoke consent in practice?
- If the User does not wish to receive the cookie files, he / she can change the browser’s settings. We make a reservation that disabling the cookie files necessary for authentification and security processes and registering User’s preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases may prevent the User from using the website.
