18-20th February 2016 (Thursday-Saturday) - Health Challenges Congress (HCC) 2016 - International Congress Centre (MCK), Katowice.
The Congress brought together more than 2 thousand guests. The International Congress Centre in Katowice became a place of one of the largest in recent years in Poland multi-sectoral debate of almost all communities related to the health care - including politicians, doctors, representatives of the universities, local governments, entities related to the medical and pharmaceutical industry, as well as patient organizations.
On the 20th of February 2016 (Saturday) was scheduled the HCC Open Day under the theme 'Medicine is for the People'. The event was arranged to allow residents of the Upper Silesian agglomeration direct contact with the guests of the Congress - specialists in selected fields of medicine. The subject of open meetings was related to the broader promotion of healthy lifestyle, health education, and the importance of properly conducted prevention.
